For this family, their older home had plenty of rooms, but they were small and closed in. By opening the wall between the dining room and kitchen, this originally cramped kitchen was given new life.
- We closed in the existing rickety back porch and reconfigured the rooms to include a new first floor laundry room and pantry area.
- A corner sink helps give more countertop space to either side of the sink and range.
- Antique seedy mullion glass doors give visual depth while obscuring the contents within.
- An angled end cabinet helps clear an otherwise tight doorway.
