The clients wanted an updated Master Bath to make it more conducive to their needs. There was a large whirlpool tub that was never used, and a cramped custom shower built into one corner of the room. Although it was relatively large in size, the bathroom lacked storage and was awkward for two people to use comfortably.
- By removing the whirlpool tub, we were able to build a large walk-in shower with a bench seat and a built-in niche for toiletries.
- Adding a rainshower head above the seat allows the user to enjoy a soothing spa-like experience. Having a second hand-held showerhead on a slide bar gives the option of a standard shower with plenty of water pressure for a quick rinse or cleaning purposes.
- The old corner shower was removed, and a custom cedar closet was built in its place, with matching wood cabinetry and shelves for storage above.
